How can anyone get more excited?

How many days can someone anticipate a particular event? .... without going nuts. Guess I'm not really looking for an answer but to make a statement that just as you think you can't get kicked up another notch then you skip two or three to a whole new level.

I think back to other experiences that I've had over the years and while I'm certain that I've been there with the other children and various situations in my prior military and present careers, this is something that I've not experienced in a while.

What is different in this situation is the duration. It has been 17 months since LID (logged in date) to the referral and this is definitely the longest I can recall. Perhaps only shadowed on how long I had to wait to get my drivers license. Guess you have to know me to really know how much I was anticipating that. I probably should also mention our wedding day as that is one of those life changing things that is all consuming to the point of reducing those days leading up to and including that day as a blur.

Never the less ... this is clearly a distraction to what otherwise would be the normal routine. Each idle moment that is not really devoted to a specific activity easily drifts into thinking about the trip and got ya day.

So to avoid the "blur" effect, we will blog and take pictures so we can look back at the event we will be able to see and remember more clearly.
