Almost all packed and ready to go and that is good as I suspect that the remaining time will go very quickly. There are still many things that could be done but the essentials are taken care or... I hope.
Now that we are getting so close it's hard to concentrate on much else. Even the sound of a baby quickly takes my mind away from whatever task I was on. These interruptions are rarely brief and typically drift into thinking about the trip.

Hi all, I know this is only a comment and not a blog entry, but just wanted to let you all know about the nickname I've given Jessica. Now it is not Jessie, while nice is too, well, I know other people named Jessie and didn't seem right for her. So it is Jesseni, (I think that is how we decided to spell it.) it is pronounced Jezz-i-nee with the i really short so you almost don't even hear it. So there's a heads up in what we are saying when you hear it.
